Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records. This includes conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal stock levels. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations departments to reconcile inventory, manage stock movements, and identify potential issues before they impact our **logistics** operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to **safety** protocols. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management software and possess a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Implement process improvements for inventory control.
  • Ensure adherence to all **safety** regulations and company policies.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed, adhering to all **PPE** guidelines.
  • Assist with **receiving** and **shipping** documentation.
  • Monitor stock rotation and identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment, minimizing **lifting** hazards.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role. Proficient in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Familiarity with **logistics** and supply chain principles is a plus. Willingness to wear required **PPE**. Commitment to workplace **safety**. Experience with **lifting** techniques and equipment.
