This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that products are moved from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping accurately and on time. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods between different areas of the warehouse, and assist with inventory management tasks. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage locations, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
- Comply with all Logistics standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA).
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
