We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our Durham, North Carolina fulfillment center. In this critical role, you will be the engine that drives our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately picked and efficiently packed for our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include locating items within the warehouse, verifying order details, packaging products with care, and preparing them for shipment. We are looking for individuals who are highly organized, possess excellent attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining a high level of productivity and workplace Safety. This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the Logistics industry and contribute to our company's success. You will work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating to meet demanding deadlines. Your safety is our priority; we provide comprehensive training and all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your protection during all tasks, including those involving significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from shelves and storage locations according to order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack products using appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques and wear assigned PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order picking lists.
- Capacity for physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for system updates.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations is beneficial.
