We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming goods. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies, verifying received items against purchase orders, and accurately entering data into our inventory management system. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with vendors and internal departments. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing to the smooth flow of materials and products. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks and containers.
- Inspect goods for any damage or shortages and report issues promptly.
- Verify received items against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Accurately record all received goods into the inventory management system.
- Organize and stage received items for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
