Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all goods.
- Stock and retrieve materials from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Ensure materials are properly identified, tagged, and stored.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, strictly adhering to Safety regulations.
- Wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Assist in the overall logistics and supply chain process.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to team success.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Certification to operate forklifts (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, often in excess of 60 lbs.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and maneuver for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and occasional overtime.
- Commitment to following all company policies and Safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
