Join our team as an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our order fulfillment process within the logistics hub. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a well-organized workspace. We are seeking dependable individuals with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace Safety. Your efforts will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and quality before packaging.
- Package orders securely and appropriately for safe transit, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding areas.
- Follow all Safety protocols rigorously, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, which may involve substantial Lifting.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, with care and adherence to Safety guidelines.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or potential Safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Contribute to a culture of Safety and operational excellence within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and cooperatively in a team setting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
