Join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon as a Warehouse Associate! We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. This role involves a variety of tasks, from receiving and stocking to order picking and packing, all while prioritizing safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, label, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Conduct cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Follow all company policies, including those related to lifting and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and basic inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to lifting guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- An understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
