We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick, pack, and stage items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the flow of goods through our distribution center, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using an order list or handheld scanner.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment, adhering to company standards.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and warehouse operations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles.
