Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Raleigh, North Carolina! This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting. If you have a knack for logistics and are committed to safety, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Stage outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Experience with forklift operation is beneficial.
