The tech specialist is the leader in their modality. They are responsible for the colleague schedule, payroll, evaluations and daily operations within the department. The tech specialist will communicate any policy updates and provide staff education to their department.
Qualifications
Maintain current licenses and certifications as required.
Complete and adhere to knowledge gained through annual employee education.
Ability to meet and interact with the public in a mature, courteous, and professional manner.
Ability to operate equipment within the department.
Maintain Aultman attendance standards.
Leadership Experience preferred.

Responsibilities & Expectations
Identify each patient and review physician orders for accuracy.
Properly position patients for high image quality.
Communication of policy updates.
Assure proper equipment function.
Resolve colleague issues/concerns.
Maintain department accreditation as necessary.
Medical record documentation in HIS and RIS or systems required per department.
Review each examination for quality.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies.
Communicate pertinent information to supervisor or responsible individual.
Explain exams/procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
Responsible for disciplinary action or colleagues within their modality.
Will have direct reports within their department.
Performs evaluations for colleagues as required.
Up to date with emails and communication.
Contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Required to cover or fill gaps in schedule for colleague absence.
Produce statistics and reports as needed.
Performs other related duties as required.
Department Responsibilities & Expectations
Working Conditions
Hours may vary as required by job. Weekends and holidays, off shift and on call duties.
Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
Sitting, standing, moving during work hours.
Lunch periods and breaks are coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate coverage.
Cross training in areas of the department as required.
Colleagues may be assigned to different locations within the foundation.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
