Responsibilities
Support research efforts and gather feedback from internal stakeholders. Assist in creating and refining designs for new products or updates to existing ones. Help build and test prototypes in the engineering lab. Participate in executing test plans and documenting results. Prepare basic documentation for sourcing, operations, and manufacturing. Provide support during the industrialization phase to bring designs into production. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience:
Internship or co-op experience in product design or engineering preferred. Familiarity with 3D and 2D design software (SolidWorks preferred). Comfortable working in an engineering lab or shop environment. Basic hand tool skills; exposure to CNC or machining is a plus. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); basic Excel formulas required. Strong interest in learning about materials (aluminum, steel, glass) and basic electronics. Key Competencies
