This Applications Engineer position is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on driving innovation and delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs), specifications, and other documentation to assess product compliance, which includes preliminary HVAC sizing, lighting and battery calculations, and weight estimates.
Offer technical assistance to customers and collaborate with sales managers, engineering, and estimating teams to accurately complete datasheets.
Engage in significant customer interactions, attending meetings and making presentations to clarify proposals and kick off projects.
Ensure the technical integrity and precision of quotes, developing persuasive proposal documents that highlight customer value propositions.
Support product development initiatives by identifying and communicating internal needs for new products and enhancements.
Provide tailored technical solutions that align with customer requirements and nVent Trachte's product capabilities.
Facilitate smooth project transitions through collaboration in handover meetings with project managers and engineers.
Expand your skills by delving into new coordinated equipment offerings and enhancing your expertise.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in a technical role within the electrical infrastructure market is preferred.
Strong expertise in LV/MV Switchgear, Relay Panels, UPS, MCC, VFD, and other related equipment.
Ability to create drawing layouts and manage multiple projects effectively.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a strong technical foundation.
Demonstrated customer service excellence and follow-up skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
