About who needs care: My mom suffers from severe depression and anxiety that has rendered her unable to drive and she is afraid to leave the house at all. Because this condition forced her to retire from her career, my dad still needs to work to provide for her. I am looking for someone to keep her company and help her to take steps towards healing, including attending doctor appointments. About the care needs: I am looking for a woman with a patient and gentle personality, ideally someone who understands mental illness. Interest in art would be a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
