Join our growing logistics operations in Omaha, Nebraska, as a Reach Truck Operator. We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to expertly maneuver our reach trucks within our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibility will be to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise efficiently and safely. This role is critical for maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating reach trucks, a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, and a steadfast commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting techniques. You will play a vital role in supporting our logistics network and ensuring timely order fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity for career advancement in the warehousing and logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move and store inventory.
- Load and unload materials from racks and other storage locations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on reach trucks.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and location verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Commitment to safe Lifting and material handling practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck certification or license is required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and have a strong attendance record.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
