Leverage your analytical skills in San Jose, California as an Inventory Control Specialist! This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, a cornerstone of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. A commitment to Safety and meticulous attention to detail are essential. We provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
- Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and storage.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical activity, including some Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
