Job Summary:
Are you meticulously organized and have a keen eye for detail? Our growing logistics company in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your primary duties will involve monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. You will play a vital part in optimizing our supply chain efficiency and minimizing stockouts and overages. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, be proficient in using warehouse management software (WMS), and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment is essential. You will work closely with warehouse operations staff to implement best practices in inventory control and logistics. While this role is primarily focused on data and analysis, there may be occasional requirements for physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, to verify inventory counts or assist in stock adjustments. Ensuring that all warehouse personnel adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is also part of maintaining a secure environment. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of receiving, put-away, and picking processes.
  • Track and manage stock movements, including transfers and adjustments.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to optimize inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with occasional physical inventory verification, which may include some Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform light to moderate Lifting as needed for inventory verification.
