To strengthen our company, we are looking for a: Development Engineer - Rail Reprofiling Technique Your mission in our grinding and milling trains department involves contributing to the development and techniques of rail reprofiling in real conditions. As the interface between the field and the technical office, you play a central role in the continuous improvement of our processes, machines, and working methods. Your goal: to sustainably enhance the performance, quality, and reliability of our work on the network.Responsibilities:- Conduct and supervise experimental trials on test benches and directly on our grinding/milling trains, analyzing test results (rail profile quality, removal performance, tool behavior, site yield).- Manage reprofiling technique projects.- Develop and structure working methodologies on-site.- Participate in the continuous improvement of machines.- Ensure the technical link between field teams and engineering teams.- Contribute to technical expertise for clients.Your profile:- HES/EPF Engineer (minimum Bachelor's degree) with a strong focus on industrial processes and real-life environments.- Knowledge in metallurgy, machining techniques, or the railway field: analytical and solution-oriented skills.- Interest in fieldwork and availability for travel related to trials and expertise.- Ease in transversal work.We offer:- A technical position with high added value at the heart of our grinding/milling trains.- A transversal role combining development and continuous improvement.- The opportunity to have a concrete impact on the performance of our railways.- A specialized and innovative industrial environment.- Working conditions: Bussigny.We look forward to receiving your complete application online or by postal mail at the following address:Scheuchzer SAHuman ResourcesChemin de Cudrex 1-4P.O.
