As a leading player in public transport, the tl (Transport Lausanne) is committed to moving each customer through the heart of the Lausanne region with a dedication to simple, innovative mobility. The LEB (Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher) represents a vital link for the mobility of its residents in the Gros-de-Vaud area. To keep pace with significant growth, the LEB line aims to introduce a 10-minute frequency between Echallens and Lausanne in the near future, with major projects planned for the LEB line. A total budget of approximately 400 million is allocated to enable this evolution. Among the major projects is the Assens-Etagnières project, which mainly consists of placing the LEB underground beneath the village of Etagnières, as well as renewing railway techniques on the Assens-Etagnières segment. To ensure the progress of our projects, we are seeking a Chief Project Manager for LEB civil engineering.Your mission:As a key member of our Cadence 10 team and under the guidance of the team leader for Cadence 10 Echallens, you will be responsible for projects related to civil engineering. You will manage the civil engineering aspects, major works, secondary works, and external arrangements for complex projects from the design phase to implementation, ensuring the initial availability of railway infrastructure within the defined timelines and quality criteria while controlling costs. You will be involved in the future Assens-Etagnières project as well as all projects on the LEB line, including the Vernand-Camarès station, the Chauderon station, the Bercher station, and others. You will also monitor the work with contractors and companies, preparing project documentation (PAP), public procurement tenders, and overseeing site management in the aforementioned fields. You will pay special attention to preparing and supporting changes induced by the projects within the company and minimizing the impact of projects on the daily operations of postal services.Your profile:You hold a degree in engineering from a university or university of applied sciences in a technical field, ideally civil engineering/geotechnics or equivalent. You have over 5 years of confirmed experience in managing complex and multidisciplinary projects in the fields of railway, road, or civil engineering (infrastructures like underground art structures, tunnels, underground works, etc.). Knowledge of SIA, VSS standards, and the legal framework for construction in Switzerland is essential. A CAS in a railway domain (railway tracks) is an advantage. Your ability to negotiate and communicate well allows you to establish a relationship of trust and calm working atmosphere among different stakeholders while understanding both the constraints and needs of various participants. Your analytical and synthesis capabilities enable you to define project priorities within the allocated time.
