What's the Job?
Lead the mechanical design process from initial concept through project completion, ensuring designs meet all specifications and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and develop detailed design documentation.
Design and develop complex conveyor and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) systems to optimize industrial processes.
Perform mechanical analyses and simulations to validate design performance, reliability, and safety.
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or a related STEM discipline.
At least 1 year of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in industrial automation or conveyor systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and mechanical analysis tools such as FEA or motion analysis software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards related to mechanical design.

¿Cuál es el trabajo?
Liderar el proceso de diseño mecánico desde la idea inicial hasta la finalización del proyecto, asegurando que los diseños cumplan con todas las especificaciones y estándares.
Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para definir requisitos técnicos y desarrollar documentación de diseño detallada.
Diseñar y desarrollar sistemas complejos de transportadores y equipos de manejo de materiales (MHE) para optimizar procesos industriales.
Realizar análisis y simulaciones mecánicas para validar el rendimiento, la confiabilidad y la seguridad del diseño.
Mentorear a ingenieros junior, brindando orientación técnica y fomentando un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo.
¿Qué se necesita?
Licenciatura en ingeniería, tecnología o disciplina STEM relacionada.
Al menos 1 año de experiencia en diseño y desarrollo mecánico, preferiblemente en automatización industrial o sistemas de transportadores.
Dominio de AutoCAD y herramientas de análisis mecánico como FEA o software de análisis de movimiento.
Fuertes habilidades analíticas, de resolución de problemas y comunicación.
Conocimiento en materiales, procesos de fabricación y estándares de la industria relacionados
