Key Responsibilities Design clean room mechanical systems including air handling units, ductwork, and HEPA/ULPA filtration systems Develop clean room layouts with proper airflow patterns Perform airflow analysis and pressure balance calculations Ensure designs meet clean room standards and regulatory requirements Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation Coordinate with electrical and other engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems Participate in design and manufacturability reviews Provide technical support during fabrication, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Troubleshoot design or field issues and implement corrective actions Support project execution to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and within budget Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3+ years of experience in mechanical or HVAC design (clean room experience preferred) Strong understanding of clean room airflow principles and contamination control Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar (KeyCreator is a plus) Experience with HVAC load calculations and system sizing Familiarity with clean room classifications and standards Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device environments Experience supporting FAT, commissioning, or validation activities Experience with airflow modeling and analysis Key Skills HVAC and mechanical system design Sheet metal design Clean room standards and regulatory compliance Technical documentation and drawing control Cross-functional collaboration and project coordination Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
