Mill/Turn and 5-Axis machines . Controls would be for Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Heidenhain for DN Solutions (Doosan) and Heller machines. • Perform application engineering work independently and set priorities with knowledge of company goals. • Design and fabricate fixtures/ work holding for demo’s, test cuts, and turnkeys. • Participate in training activities with colleagues, internal academy, and external resources. • Conduct time estimates for customer parts. • Calculation of optimal speeds and feeds for part processing. • Setup CNC machines with program, tooling, workpiece, and fixtures. • Setup and program a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) • Inspection of finished parts for quality and accuracy. • Generate engineering reports and technical documentation. • Train customers on equipment after installation • Frequent communication with internal technical staff, external customers, and external suppliers. \#ZR
