Join our dynamic team as a Hardware Support Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is functioning optimally. Your responsibilities will include shipping and receiving equipment, repairing hardware, and collaborating with external repair vendors. This position requires familiarity with IT hardware concepts, shipping methods, and in-depth knowledge of Buckle Store Systems hardware. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly, including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends, based on business needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This job description outlines the key responsibilities associated with this role. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and other duties may be assigned as needed. Hardware Maintenance/ Repair
Effectively repair hardware to ensure optimal performance. Document all repairs in the ticketing system. Maintain accurate asset database and equipment inventory. Prepare and manage equipment for electronic recycling or disposal. Shipping/Receiving of Equipment
Prepare, configure, package, and ship equipment to retail locations and vendors. Receive and process incoming equipment from stores and vendors. Document all shipping and receiving activities in the ticketing system. Provide outstanding guest service while collaborating as part of a cohesive team. Take on special projects and other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not include supervisory responsibilities. Education and Experience Applicants should possess an Associate's degree from a two-year college or university, or have one to three years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry certifications such as A+ or Apple are preferred. Physical Demands The physical requirements of this role include regular standing, walking, using hands for tasks, reaching, talking, and hearing. You may need to frequently sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role may require some travel by air or vehicle, including overnight stays, and the operation of a motor vehicle for extended durations. Work Environment Typically, you will work in an office setting with a moderate noise level.
