We are now looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Dublin 14 on a full-time, permanent basis. As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be tasked with supporting end users with queries or issues relating to their hardware and software. Acting as the primary point of contact for all internal IT matters, you will take full ownership of issues through to resolution, providing end-user support while administering and maintaining core business systems. Alongside this, you will monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identify potential issues and implement new IT initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency and overall user experience. Additionally, you will: - Lead internal communication around IT changes, upgrades and new initiatives - Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and services - Participate in IT infrastructure and system upgrade projects - Plan and coordinate software deployments and rollouts - Manage small to medium-sized IT projects independently - Champion the best practice use of systems across departments So, is this the role for you? If so, you’ll need experience with the following: - Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Teams and SharePoint - Windows Server and Desktop operating systems - Setting up and troubleshooting hardware, servers and desktop systems - Supporting enterprise LAN/WAN networks - Firewalls, ideally FortiGate - Managing user accounts, permissions and end-user support - Knowledge of security best practices - Monitoring Azure cloud services Proactive and analytical, as our IT Systems Administrator, you will bring strong problem-solving skills, fluent written and verbal English communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills. You will also be highly organised, able to manage your time effectively and confident working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be beneficial to your application, but this is by no means essential.
