Nestled in the heart of Arlesey, Bedfordshire, our nursery is conveniently located for those commuting from Arlesey, Fairfield Park, Stotfold, Letchworth, Hitchin, and beyond. Plus, we’re just a short walk from Arlesey railway station, with direct trains to London and Peterborough!

In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead our dedicated staff to ensure every child receives exceptional care and support for their learning journey.
- Create, plan, and implement engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Open and close the nursery, stepping in for the Manager and Deputy Manager when needed.
- Design educational programs tailored to various age groups, fostering early childhood growth.
- Mentor and guide nursery staff, providing training and support as necessary.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Plan stimulating activities that promote creativity, social interaction, and physical development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
- Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
- Knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
- Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
