Salary: £28,080 per annum

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Lead our dedicated staff to ensure every child receives exceptional care and support for their learning journey.
• Create, plan, and implement engaging activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Open and close the nursery, stepping in for the Manager and Deputy Manager when needed.
• Design educational programs tailored to various age groups, fostering early childhood growth.
• Mentor and guide nursery staff, providing training and support as necessary.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
• Plan stimulating activities that promote creativity, social interaction, and physical development.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
• Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
• Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
