We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our busy fulfillment center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial to our logistics chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for timely shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order details provided by scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items safely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection.
- Verify the contents of each order against the customer's request to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning devices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Comfortable with manual lifting and repetitive tasks.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
