About the Role As a M365 Automation Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in leveraging the Microsoft 365 platform to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation through automation. Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject-matter expert on M365 platform functionalities, security requirements, and limitations. Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions across Microsoft 365 services. Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate on the development of policies, governance models, and long-term engineering strategies. Provide Tier-3 engineering support for advanced incidents related to Microsoft 365 workloads. Automation and Scripting: Identify opportunities for automation to ensure seamless integration across Microsoft 365 products. Coach teammates in best practices for automation development. Analyze software requirements and establish specifications and standards. Develop and implement scripts and automation components using current tools and frameworks. Assess business processes and pinpoint areas for process improvements through automation. Propose software solutions to fill operational gaps or address new business needs. GitHub Management: Manage user support and collect feedback. Oversee GitHub Enterprise accounts, organizations, and enterprise policies. Govern GitHub Actions usage and permissions. Troubleshoot access issues, CI/CD, and permissions challenges. Manage GitHub Enterprise licenses and seat allocations. Provide cross-team collaboration and support. Required Skills Expert-level proficiency in automation development using PowerShell, Graph API, Azure Functions, and GitHub Actions. In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 platform components. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with a collaborative team mindset. Advanced troubleshooting skills for CI/CD pipelines, access issues, and authorization flows. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to mentor peers and advocate for best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of relevant experience; a master’s degree is preferred. Working Conditions This position is remote but may require occasional travel for team meetings and client interactions. To thrive at PCG, you should be available during set working hours, work from a safe and distraction-free environment, and be focused on completing your job duties. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Compensation: Compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 and varies based on factors including office location, skills, and experience.
