Our client, a leading innovator in the semiconductor and hardware design industry, is seeking a Systems Design Engineer (Emulation and Prototyping)
- Intermediate (US) to join their dynamic team. As a Systems Design Engineer (Emulation and Prototyping)
- Intermediate (US), you will be an integral part of the Hardware Development Department supporting cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:
Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid Work Environment: 3 days in Office - Tue, Wed, Thu)
What's the Job?
Create hardware emulation models to support verification and validation processes.
Import and integrate RTL design files for simulation and prototyping.
Develop and implement RTL patches to resolve non-synthesis issues.
Compile and debug emulation models, ensuring functional correctness and performance.
Participate in pre-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up activities for complex SoC designs.
What's Needed?
3-5 years of experience in hardware design, emulation, and prototyping environments.
Hands-on experience with FPGA/emulation platforms such as Synopsys HAPS, Zebu, Protium, or Palladium.
Proficiency in RTL coding using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
Knowledge of SoC buses and protocols including AXI, PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, and SerDes links.
Strong debugging skills with tools like Verdi or fsdb analysis, and scripting expertise in Python, Perl, Tcl, or Shell.
