The Design Engineer I will assist higher-level engineers in design tasks.
Position Details
Performs modeling, drawings and specifications related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection or other systems
Performs basic calculations for a project, such as heating/cooling loads, equipment selection and sizing, friction loss calculations, hydraulic calculations, light levels, SCCR, etc.
Performs on-site field surveys to collect or deliver design and engineering data.
Qualifications
Four-year degree in Engineering or related field
Developing Knowledge of applicable systems design, such as fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, electrical etc.
Basic ability to read construction documents
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel
