Embedded Systems Engineer LD Switzerland develops and produces protective equipment for the aerospace sector such as: Pilot and crew helmets for helicopters; Helmets for transport aircraft pilots; Helmets for pilot and we also handle the design and development for our partner company, a European leader specialized in oxygen masks for military: Oxygen masks for fighter pilots; Oxygen masks for transport aircraft pilots; System X. In your role at the design office, you will work closely with other members of the research and development team, design specialists, systems, as well as with external suppliers and partners. This position will allow you to discover the entire product lifecycle, from the initial concept development and rapid prototyping to support, and this position is perfect for someone who likes X, develops tangible products and sees their work translate into an impact in the world. Responsibilities: Contribute to the design, development, and testing of embedded systems and software. Support the development of concepts and rapid prototyping, editing, reviewing, and updating techniques. Collaborate with suppliers and partners to support the activities of design and testing. Work with colleagues from different disciplines to solve technical problems. Profile: You have an engineering degree with a focus on embedded systems and have between 2 and 5 years of experience in a company. Proven experience in developing embedded systems, particularly in C/C++, electronic circuit design, entering design and printed circuits, taking mechanics into account in a system X, acquired within a company. Knowledge of software and/or embedded development tools and processes. Experience in testing electronic systems and software against design requirements. Experience in rapid prototyping or development approaches. Curious and problem-solving oriented. Practical approach to challenges. Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative. Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues from diverse backgrounds is a plus. Experience in safety-critical, medical, or regulated environments.
