HES-SO, the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland, is offering the position of Analyst and Support for Student Management Systems (80%). HES-SO Master (HMA) is the entity of HES-SO dedicated to postgraduate studies. In close collaboration with fields and higher education institutions, HMA manages, coordinates, and develops nine interdisciplinary master's programs, grounded in practical experience and connected to professional fields as well as research. HMA X centers on the student experience, encourages interdisciplinarity, mobility, and openness, and promotes innovative pedagogical approaches integrating sustainability and artificial intelligence. Through its governance and multisite network, HMA X enhances the visibility of HES-SO master's programs and the development of the academic and professional careers of its graduates. In the context of student management systems, HMA X has a dedicated team and mission. Reporting directly to the Head of HES-SO Master, you will work closely with the senior analyst of the IS-Academia system or AGE (current student management system) as well as with the HES-SO Master team. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting and advising teams at HES-SO Master in daily management tasks and ensuring clear communication regarding academic processes: analyzing needs, proposing improvements, and implementing adapted solutions for managing curricula, study plans, and academic regulations; configuring academic data: structuring (curricula, regulations, etc.), testing developments, and ensuring compliance with regulations (HES-SO, OFS). Contributing to the digital transition of AGE for HES-SO Master: supporting the transfer to new HES-SO tools and actively participating in the contribution program for the transition to the new system: ensuring the transfer of data (admissions, student management, staff) in collaboration with partners; deploying new management tools: designing dashboards to enhance student management and decision-making.Profile: You hold a Bachelor's degree from a Swiss university in management systems; you have at least 5 years of professional experience after obtaining a higher education degree; you have a good understanding of the academic environment and higher education institutions, particularly universities of applied sciences; you have confirmed experience in systems related to student management; you are a French speaker, proficient in English, and able to read documents in German; you are comfortable with usual tools and managing data environments.Skills: Excellent analytical and systems support skills with a high level of methodological rigor, synthesis, and reliability; confirmed project management skills, ideally in contexts of system development; proven ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with all stakeholders in the institution; strong accountability skills and sharp sense of priorities; ability to work autonomously while fitting into a team dynamic; comfort in communicating and interacting with a variety of stakeholders; flexibility and capacity for activity; 80% workload.
