The Vaud Hospitals Federation (FHVi) is the preferred partner of more than 12 hospitals and regional healthcare facilities in the canton of Vaud. FHVi supports them in the many challenges of the digital health sector and has the main missions of planning, designing, implementing, and operating the IT systems of its members. There are more than 130 individuals serving a network of over 100 workstations spread across a hundred geographic sites and three cantons (VD, VS, FR). The position is open to both women and men. For the sake of readability, the terms do not refer to genders. Your mission: Within the Networks team of the Infrastructure department at FHVi, you will contribute to the design, evolution, and support of the LAN, WAN networks of FHVi and its partner establishments spread across about a hundred sites. You will participate in enhancing security, connected devices on the network, filtering, as well as the implementation of technologies ensuring high availability of the network. Main activities and responsibilities:- Processing service requests from our establishments and business managers (ticket management, network, and security tools).- Managing incidents on the FHVi network and those of partner network for new medical and technical solutions (PCs, servers, IoT devices, mobility, etc.).- In charge of monitoring, you will ensure the performance and availability of the network.- Working on LAN (wired and Wi-Fi), WAN evolution projects, new network and security standards on site.- Managing network security (filtering, NAC, backup service).Profile sought:- Higher education (Bachelor's or Master's), or a title deemed equivalent.- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a network engineer or in a similar role, ideally in a complex environment.- Knowledge in routing and switching on Cisco equipment.- Good knowledge of Fortinet Firewall technologies or equivalent (clusters, zoning, L4/L7 filtering).- CCNA or CCNP is highly desired.- Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi solutions or equivalent is a plus.- Knowledge of NAC is a plus.- Familiarity with scripting, tools, and management is a plus.- Familiar with Microsoft, Linux technologies, and open source tools.Personal qualities:- Customer-oriented and service-minded (listening, availability, respect, responsiveness).- Team spirit and collaborative work ethic.- Good oral and written communication, rigor, structured, methodical, responsive.- Respects and enforces the operational procedures of FHVi.Languages:- French: Fluent in spoken and written, confident writing skills.- English: Professional expression with ease.Activity rate: 100%What we offer you:- A stimulating opportunity to evolve in the healthcare sector, a constantly changing and meaningful field.- The chance to actively contribute to ambitious digital projects currently underway.- Employment conditions with regular salary progression tailored to responsibilities, in accordance with FHVi's agreements: 13th month and 30 days of vacation per year (30 days starting at age 50).- Access to continuous training to support your professional development.- Possibility of remote work (40% based on conditions).- Subsidized on-site parking and accessibility facilitated by public transport.Looking for your next adventure?
