Responsibilities include:
* Working with our strong technical team, you will be responsible for meeting internal and external client objectives and project-specific internal financial goals.
* Budget preparation and tracking, scheduling, task management, and delivery on environmental projects within western Canada.
* Providing motivation and direction to project teams, interacting with clients, and providing mentoring opportunities to help the team thrive.
* Developing project strategy in conjunction with senior technical staff, effectively communicating it to clients, and driving the strategy with project teams.
* Expanding our client portfolio in a collaborative manner, including support for Business Development and proposal efforts.
* Be a Safety Leader for your projects and promote Jacobs Beyond Zero and our Culture of Caring.
* Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience in the natural resources sector in western Canada, preferably in a consulting environment.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology/ecology, geology, or other closely related technical degree.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects and meet project deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* High level of initiative, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Ideally, you'll also have:
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
* Experience with Renewable Energy Projects, and Transmission and Distribution Projects
