Pay Rate: $75-95 per hour Summary: Location: Oakland, CA Contract Duration: 12 Months Role Type: Hybrid Local candidates only Responsibilities: Lead project planning activities to initiate projects with proper scope. Anticipate and plan appropriate resources and schedules. Setup projects in Planisware or CSD Intake/Execution Tools. Develop and actively manage projects to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Create statements of work (SOW) for vendors and subcontractors. Write project deliverables such as requirements documents and test plans. Conduct technical meetings and weekly status meetings, documenting and publishing notes and action items. Communicate expectations and status to team, managers, and stakeholders. Delegate tasks to project team members and stakeholders. Utilize tools like Planisware, Ariba, SAP, and Jira to complete and report on work. Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify risks. Conduct site walk-downs or visit physical installation sites as required. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Conduct project post-mortems to capture lessons learned. Requirements: BS in a related field (Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a minimum of 6 years work experience. Required Skills: Positive, problem-solving attitude with solid analytical and technical skills. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to elicit cooperation from management, stakeholders, and others. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to be flexible with shifting priorities. Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products. Preferred Skills: Field PMs: Experience in field work related to Physical Security and related Systems (e.g., Access Controls, Intrusion Detection, Video surveillance). Application PMs: Experience working with application development, deployment, or product management, ideally within the physical security domain. Benefits: With prior company manager's approval, may submit expense for reimbursements for any travels other than the home-work location. Candidate needs to provide personal laptop until company laptop is available. For home office, candidate needs to provide own equipment.
