As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and high-visibility presence to help identify and report security-related concerns, respond to incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed and coordinating with law enforcement and/or other on-site personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, including checks of doors, gates, access points, and restricted areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Complete timely security-related reports and required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity logs, and observations communicated to supervision and/or the client representative. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have an armed guard card/license. Provide proof of high school diploma/GED as required by the client. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
