We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Massage Therapist, you will assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic massages to enhance overall well-being and alleviate pain.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
* Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
* Provide various types of massages, including deep tissue massage, to address specific pain management needs.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and progress made by patients.
* Educate patients on self-care techniques and the benefits of regular massage therapy.
* Collaborate with other healthcare providers in occupational health settings to support comprehensive patient care.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
* Must be able to work a combination of days, evenings, and weekends.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices.
* Excellent patient service skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
* Familiarity with med spa services is a plus but not required.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
*Compensation & Benefits*
* Pay is based on services provided, not an hourly rate.
* *$500 sign-on bonus offered (paid out after 90 days of employment).*
