Join our dynamic team as a Lead Telecom Solutions Engineer! In this critical role, you will collaborate with development teams throughout the software life cycle, ensuring sustainable software releases that drive our success. Key Responsibilities: Oversee hands-on management of cloud infrastructure and automation tools to enhance efficiency and performance. Document comprehensive cloud architecture and security measures, actively participating in client audits. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cloud services, guiding teams and resolving complex challenges. Execute large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, including major upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts. Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting, systems integrations, and performance tuning. Lead and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting their professional development. Ensure accountability for Contact Center implementation and support throughout all project life cycle stages. Analyze existing and new voice and data networks; recommend and implement effective solutions. Create and modify essential artifacts and deliverables throughout the change management process. Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Be available to work unscheduled hours during urgent situations or outages. Adhere to department implementation standards and change control processes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant professional experience; 6+ years preferred. Extensive experience with Genesys Cloud, including advanced configuration and systems integrations. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic technology vision that supports business goals. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring technical teams. Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in troubleshooting complex configurations. Experience with call flow development using the Genesys Architect tool. Proficient with software such as Wireshark, MS Server, DHCP/DNS, MS Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and MS Office Suite. Software development experience in languages like Java, C#.NET, Python, PHP, and web application development. Exceptional communication skills, with sensitivity to audience and context. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and certifications in Genesys, Cisco, and Microsoft technologies. Experience in State and Federal Government projects is a plus.
