We are seeking a
Senior Design Engineer
to have a meaningful impact on the future direction of our product line. This role offers the opportunity to influence system architecture, design standards, and long‑term product strategy while remaining closely connected to manufacturing and real‑world application. It is ideal for an experienced engineer who values ownership, technical leadership, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead complex mechanical and architectural designs from concept through production, ensuring solutions balance innovation, manufacturability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with project management, manufacturing, sales, and customers to translate design intent into reliable, buildable systems. Your work will directly shape how Transwall products are designed, refined, and scaled over time.
As a senior technical contributor, you will define and advance engineering standards, review and approve drawings, assemblies, and bills of materials, and guide design decisions that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency across the portfolio. You will lead testing strategies for new products and major revisions, using data and experience to drive smarter design choices and ongoing product improvement.
Mentorship is central to this role. You will support and develop less experienced team members, helping strengthen technical capability across the engineering group while fostering a culture of accountability and learning. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work across disciplines and help align engineering decisions with broader business goals.
The ideal candidate brings 7-12 years of relevant engineering experience, advanced SolidWorks proficiency, disciplined documentation practices, and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Occasional travel may be required.
