divh2Analytics Manager, Full Stack (Fraud Analytics)/h2pAffirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest./ppThe Fraud Strategy Analytics team works cross-functionally with Machine Learning, Product, Engineering, and Operations to combat fraudulent activities and to foster a safe platform./ppWere looking for a new team member to help lead our teams fraud monitoring and detection efforts and own fraud escalations as we scale internationally. Additionally, this role will work closely with our cross functional partners to help develop our fraud detection and decisioning systems./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliDevelop strategies for monitoring and preventing fraud across our network, advising on best practices and ensuring the strategies align with risk management goals./liliLeverage advanced data analytics to identify loss drivers, derive insights and optimize fraud management strategies/liliReport on fraud trends and loss drivers to cross functional partners and senior management/liliQuickly respond to fraud rings and ensure issues raised by other teams are addressed in a timely manner/liliWork together with our operations team to help limit losses and ensure optimal review volumes/liliAssist with evaluation and development of new external or internal features/signals to improve our fraud detection capabilities/liliAssist with team planning and goal setting as well as coaching and mentorship of more junior team members/li/ulh3What We Look For/h3ullistrong7+ years of experience/strong in strongFraud Management/strong or a related field preferred with a prior emphasis on analytics./lilistrongProduct knowledge/strong - Passion to understand how the product works and how to change it to make it more effective/liliAble to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsive and available during times of peak fraud activity/liliAbility to work later starts several days a week so as to allow for increased overlap with US based colleagues./lilistrongTechnical skills/strong - Extensive experience writing and analyzing SQL queries; comfort using python or other scripting languages for data analysis/lilistrongCommunication/strong - Ability to build strong cross functional partnerships and work with a diverse range of teams across the organization. Ability to communicate analyses and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences/lilistrongMulti-tasking/strong - Strong time management skills and the ability to shift focus on a moments notice to respond to changes in fraud pressure and tactics/lilistrongIndustry knowledge/strong - Working knowledge of the fundamentals of payment processing and an understanding of industry risk trends, including familiarity with risk strategy development./liliBachelors degree, or local equivalent, in a quantitatively rigorous field like engineering, statistics, math, finance, economics desired/li/ulh3Compensation Benefits/h3pPay Grade - O Equity Grade - 6 Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
