The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is hiring for the position of Border Patrol Agent, an entry-level career in federal law enforcement that makes a difference every day to our country and its citizens.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.

Inspect records, reports, arrest warrants, fingerprints from workstations/databases/systems; identify traffic patterns along assigned border routes using stationary lookout points/officer patrols/ ground-patrol units/agencies; patrol around permanent checkpoints/markers/towers/designated areas/boundaries etc.
Patrolling/surveilling along interstates/federal roads/highways/streets/coastal waterways/riverine/wetlands/arid regions/mountains/or plains/international borders with Mexico/CANADA...
