Exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator in Orlando, Florida! Join our dynamic warehouse team where you'll be instrumental in managing the flow of goods. You will operate forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve materials, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products throughout the distribution center.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring cargo is secure and accounted for.
- Transport materials to and from designated staging areas, storage locations, and production zones.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to support a safe and efficient logistics environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.
- Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training programs.
- Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a secure and hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with at least one year of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Capacity to perform physical tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the correct usage of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and supervisors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and schedules.
- A proactive approach to safety and operational excellence in our logistics hub.
