We are hiring energetic and dependable Order Pickers for our warehouse in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment. Your attention to detail and ability to work at a steady pace are essential for success. We are committed to providing a secure and healthy work environment, and all employees are required to strictly adhere to our Safety protocols. This includes the mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from designated warehouse locations according to customer order requirements.
- Utilize hand-held scanners or pick lists to guide picking activities.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of product is selected.
- Transport items to the packing or shipping area using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or carts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.
- Report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.
- Achieve established productivity targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely order processing within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions and product labels.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail orientation.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to work ethic and Safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
