Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and managed efficiently. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing a wide range of materials and products throughout the facility. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other heavy machinery, loading and unloading trucks, and transferring inventory to and from various departments. You will also assist with inventory control, including conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate records of material movement. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests. This position requires the ability to perform significant manual labor, including frequent and heavy Lifting. Experience with various types of warehouse equipment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
  • Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization.
  • Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting and physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
