We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This position is crucial to our supply chain operations and requires attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong work ethic. You will collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain a clean and organized work area. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and efficiency, is paramount. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, which includes the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus, though not always required as training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and documented.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times as required by safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety procedures.
