We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our thriving logistics team in Durham, North Carolina. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous record-keeping, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our entire supply chain. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock rotation and put-away processes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate inventory management.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring inventory availability and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting, as required.
- Understanding of Safety best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
