Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas.
- Assist with receiving, put-away, and shipping processes.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification on relevant equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse safety procedures.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and following all safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
