Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Record inventory data accurately using warehouse management systems.
- Assist with stock put-away, rotation, and organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and report potential shortages or overages.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory items.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be reliable and follow all safety guidelines, including wearing assigned PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
