Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality before packing.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety in all aspects of the job, including the proper use of PPE.
- Experience with lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs is often required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and proper use of required PPE is mandatory.
