Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a stable and rewarding career in Raleigh, North Carolina? We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move materials, load and unload trucks, and manage inventory within our warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear required PPE at all times, including safety vests and hard hats when necessary.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics operations.
- Ensure a high level of safety awareness and practice in all tasks.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate various types of forklifts. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE is essential.
