We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will play a crucial part in our overall logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory, verify contents against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies.
- Safely and efficiently stock received goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, staging, and loading.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and quality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
