We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and efficiently packing these items for shipment. This role demands a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety. You'll be working within a fast-paced environment, so organization and speed are key. We provide all necessary training and emphasize the importance of following all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order slips.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed for moving inventory.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
